E Noa Tours · Waikiki
E Noa Tours books your entry, picks you up at your Waikiki hotel in an air-conditioned minibus, hands out snacks and gives you about two hours at the crater. It's a solid backup when the bigger shuttles are full, from a Honolulu operator that also runs the Waikiki Trolley.

E Noa Tours is a Honolulu transport company, the same one behind the Waikiki Trolley. On this trip its orange minibus collects you at your Waikiki hotel, with the time sent to you by the team after booking. The admission fee and the timed reservation are covered, and snacks are included.
At the crater the itinerary gives about two hours, and the hike is self-guided. That's the same window as the Go Tours shuttle, and comfortably enough for most people to reach the summit, look around and walk back down.
The title says sunrise, so be realistic: the gate opens at 6 a.m., and a summit sunrise only works from about November to March. Listings with few reviews deserve a little care too. One guest wrote that his ticket said 6 to 9 a.m. but the driver didn't plan to leave the crater until 10, so he took an Uber back. Ask E Noa for the return time when they send your pickup time.

The air-conditioned minibus collects guests and drives about 15 minutes to Diamond Head.
Paved path, rock switchbacks, stairs and the lit tunnel to the summit bunker.
Back to Waikiki. Confirm the departure time with the driver before you start hiking.
★★★★★Go as early or late as possible for cooler temps and beautiful sunrise and sunset views! Not an easy hike, rough rocky uneven trail, and very uphill the whole way up with a ton of stairs, but worth it for the view at the top if you are able!

Only from about November to March. The park opens at 6 a.m., and in summer the sun is up before that. See our sunrise guide for the times.
About two hours, according to the itinerary, inside a trip of about three hours. One guest found the actual departure was later than his ticket suggested, so confirm it on the day.
